Launched in the spring of 2005 by its President Mike Gildea, Brain Gain, LLC is a consulting resource to states, organizations, and communities to address the challenges and opportunities of the brain gain issue.

Prior to forming the company, Gildea developed and managed one of the first ever multi-million dollar statewide brain gain initiatives, Pennsylvania’s Stay Invent the Future, launched by then Governor Tom Ridge.  Some aspects of this nationally recognized initiative included hundreds of partnering organizations, internship projects, young professional organizations, dynamic interactive projects, and a state/national ad campaign connecting young people to industry.
